M&P Sights

Is there much in the way of aftermarket sights fir the S&W M&P yet? I will be buying a M&P 40 over the next few days and will probably want an adjustable sight eventually. HiViz has a front fiberoptic available now and Novak is working on sight sets (glad I live in Parkersburg,WV!!)for the M&P but won't be out for a couple months. I havn't checked on XS yet - any opinions on them??

Scott Warren and 10-8 Performance however these are fixed sights only.

How can Novak be "working" on a sight sets when they come with Novak sights? Seems a little behind the ball to me. I really like the XS sights. I plan on getting a set for my M&P 9c

Reading this topic with interest

One of the few criticisms I have of mine is that the front sight dot needs to be more prominent, especially in low (not no) light.

Dan Burwell of www.burwellgunsmithing.com has sight sets for the M&P. I believe they are all fixed rear sights. For front sights he has gold beads, tritium and fiber optic.

Thank you . Just what I was looking for . The front dot being less prominent than the rear is my only complaint with the M&P .

He'll happily install sights on just your slide (no FFL required), but I would send my whole gun to him for his trigger job, too. As decent as the M&P trigger is once it's dry-fired a bunch, it pales beside one that he has polished and worked on for overtravel and reset.

When I spoke with them about six weeks ago they were developing adjustable fiberoptic sight sets which they said would probably be available in a couple of months.

Sorry to jump in on this (my first post) but I had to thank Lubeck Teck. I had no idea that Novak is based in Parkersburg. By all accounts very good sights, how is their gunsmithing work?

I really like the 10-8 rear sight, and also have a 0.100" SSS black front sight on my M&Ps. Makes for a very crisp sight picture, lets a lot of light through.
