I was "fake" robbed yesterday

I normally put my vehicle into gear and take the parking break off first thing (well, after locking, which I do as I close the door). That way if some fool comes up the the vehicle it's go time.

That has to be the second best use of the phrase "it's go time" I've heard on THR in the last month.

Big car

I have a big car (95 Impala SS) with plenty of room for me to swing a knife. It is impossible for me to say what I would have done with out having it happen to me. I'd like to say that as soon as he sat in the seat I would have driven a knife into his chest or a slug into his gut. It is important to be smart in that situation since you are already at a disadvantage.

Lloyd, tell me that you did not just quote Derek, the lead skinhead from the movie American History X, just before he "curbs" one of the black guys who was trying to steal his truck.

Ok Lloyd, maybe I jumped the gun. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. If I was wrong, I apologize. But I am kind of curious why you have now erased the phrase "You should have learned your lesson on the basketball court!" from the 2 posts it was in? What does it mean to you?

The man who did this is a racist, a sexist, and a bully. The great tragedy is that when he gets what he is asking for, he, or his family, will scream “discrimination”. Al and Jesse will march, and the media will scream “hate crime”. All of this will encourage more behavior like this.

For a cheap car handgun, I'd say either a CZ-52 or a CZ-82. My vote is with the CZ-82. Great gun all around. 9x18 Mak, 12+1 capacity. $200

Parking garages are prime targets because:

1. They are enclosed, making sight/sound more difficult.
2. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to hide in.
3. If a car is in a garage, a BG knows someone will have to come back to it sooner or later.

I'm sorry, but if there was a group of hoodlums standing anywhere near me when I went to my car I wouldn't get in it. You let all of these guys get the drop on you, not just the one.

lloydkristmas (great handle BTW), you just had yourself a little life lesson. Live and learn. After all, it did happen at an institution of higher learning. College is full of little lessons like this one -- at least it was for me. Don't pay too much attention to the people telling you how dumb and dumber you are (funny, ain't I).
