I also subscribe and had the same frustration. However, I have found that you can use a search engine and type in " Sig225, gun-tests" and the article may come up. If you go to their site, you'll certainly have to pay.

Combined with the Googling suggestion, you'll likely get better info on THR or TFL anyway.

Don't renew your subscription. After subscribing to them for over a dozen years, I finally dropped them because of not having the web access.

I remember reading a test by them where they labeled the Makarov a POS.

Don't just drop your subscription. Tell them why. Boycotting a company does no good if they don't know why.

I lost my login information to the online site, and they have NEVER returned my email asking for help in resetting the password.

I've been a print subscriber for over 10 years (non-stop since late 1996). You'd think they would provide good customer service to long-time customers, but so far I have NEVER been helped in getting my online login--they've NEVER returned a single email I sent.

I will still remain a subscriber because I like their print work, but I do hold a grudge against their customer service.

Oh, and I typically scan my issues and save them in PDF format so that I can keep the print issues in the attick and access them via my computer (10 years worth of print takes up 10 binders and lots of space). Those of you just throwing issues away probably would be better served making electronic copies first (pdfs).

They know why. I informed them of the "difficulty" that I was having and asked them to "correct" it saying that I would not be sending them any future monies (i.e., renewing my subscription) until the matter was resolved. E-mailed them twice and never heard back. Also sent in a paper reply when they sent me a renewal.

Again, never heard back except for another form letter asking me to renew.

If they can't be bothered to reply to a longtime subscriber, than I don't have the time to be one of their readers.

That rag is a waste of money.....

because of funds, I really like the magazine.
I have every issue I paid for.
I found their customer service to be excellent!?

Well gee, were you a subscriber when the article came out? If so, then you should have saved the issue. If not, do you really think that your subscription to this year should get you all the information for all the previous years that you didn't pay for?

In other words, it is silly to be upset with Gun Tests because you didn't get immediate gratis access to something you didn't pay for in the first place.

I used to love reading Gun Tests...

I actually bought a gun after reading about it in Gun Tests: they had reviewed the Ruger 22/45, and recommended that you do NOT buy it because it is too difficult to assemble/disassemble. Owning several Ruger Mark II/III's over the years, I found that if you just took the time to figure out what the heck you were doing vs. blindly following the instructions in the manual, and you had an IQ higher than your shoe size, it isn't a problem.

So I was so ticked off that I went out and bought a 22/45 Hunter version, and I really like it. (I'd thought about it in the past, it was just that this was the straw that broke the camel's back).

Did anyone actually read FR Baseball's post?

They put 3 holes along the left edge of each issue. For those who didn't know, these holes fit the rings of a standard 3-ring binder.
