If money is no object, and if I am limited to just one, probably a Jarrett Beanfield Rifle in .280 Ackley Improved.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

I'm going to assume that "no object" = $10,000 and "gun" = shotgun (as this is the shotgun section).

I'd buy two or three nice older 870 Wingmasters with 18-20" barrels, cut one down to 14" for a truck gun, slap sidesaddles on the other two and commence using my leftover $8500+ for shotgun classes and BA/UU/R.

By the time I get through $8,000 worth of training and ammo, that last $500 should do nicely for parts replacement and refinishing... if they need it. If not, it'll go towards aspirin for my aching shoulder and some whitening strips for the big, stupid grin I'll be wearing. :D

Mk18 with the "happy" switch.

With that lower, you can scratch a multitude of itches, as it'll serve as a DMR, M4, 9mm subgun, 6.8 rifle, etc.

My idea of bliss

An AYA No1 delux in 20ga, with 30inch barrels 1/4 and 3/4.
And the same again in .410, 30 inch 3/4 and full.
Oh, and enough shells to last a lifetime.

Neil.

There's supposedly a small but unknown number of Singer Sewing machine 1911's that were made without serial numbers for presents to executives when the company was under contract to produce 500 early into WW2. I figure those should fetch a pretty penny.

Otherwise something in a nice Holland & Holland .700 Nitro double rifle would be nice at about 59,000 to 69,000 dollars.
