Cops are going to suppresors on their entry weapons. It keeps the noise down and anyone that is shooting without one is easily targeted as a BG.

Why would anyone want to shoot a firearm without one?

The hearing damage potential of firearms alone is enough reason that suppressors should be sold at Wal Mart.

That they are regulated in today's environment of "green" everything is a testament to stupidity.

In addition to hearing protection, they are also beneficial for entering flammable/ explosive enviroments, ie meth labs, because the retard sparks and flash that could cause a very nasty situation.
 
I can account for .17% of the suppressors in my state :) I'm about to be responsible for almost 1% of the SBRs as well hehe.

which passed on May 15th, and is going to the Governor's desk for a signature.

From from the summary of bill 2034:

(6) Specifies that no firearm silencer may be possessed,
manufactured, transported, repaired, or sold as a curio,
ornament, or keepsake unless the seller is an importer,
manufacturer, dealer, or collector licensed by federal law;

Time to apply for that Curio and Relic License!
