I ordered a holster from HBE Leatherworks for a compact-frame Glock.
That was Jan 28, and it arrived today! Two months is short for hand-made leather work.
It's a black, DC Tuckable model so I can conceal with a tucked in shirt if needed. The quality is readily apparent, the workmanship is stellar, the spring steel clips are sturdy, and I couldn't be happier with it. I expect it will take a bit for the leather to completely form to my hip, but it's already molding well after the first day's wear.
Eric Larsen (Holster's By Eric) was very helpful and spent a good half hour on the phone ironing out details. Still, he did not ask me to send funds till last week when he was ready to cut leather. I know he's had some rough times in the last year, but he's a man of character and is doing his best to get things righted. My experience with him was stellar.
If you want first-rate craftsmanship in a leather holster, but don't want to wait the typical six months from some of the other brands, call Eric today. Like his work, he's first rate.
