Warning: These video's contain harsh and abusive shotgun behavior. Strong language and other unmentionables... (Whatever you do don't ask Dave about a pigeon in the hotel room....) *View at your own risk.

*Just a couple of clay birds were harmed during this event.
The most fun you can have every Friday at PGT&S!!!

Nice day to break clays, thanks.
But Al is the man, the only one not to litter the place with empty hulls.
Sorry it's one of my pet hates.

Neil. :)

.

Thanks for posting that, I think.

Note to self, hold stomach in when being filmed....

Looks like you guys really enjoy one another's company. That's what is great about the shotgun hobby. I have shot a few rounds alone, but in general I enjoy it more when there are a few people around. I tend to get a hurry when shooting alone. One thing that is different at the local course. The geezers here don't want anyone talking when shooting is in progress. All the BS, teasing, and prodding comes afterwards. Different people, different ways I guess.

MM, this group is composed of great folks. Some of us keep our scores, some do not. Nobody is out to outdo the others, just outdo our last or best score.

There's a couple centuries of accumulated shotgunning experience there.

And note the equipment.....

Two autos,an 1100 and an SX1.

Two O/Us. Al's Red Label 28 gauge and my own B gun.

Note, when I hit the Lotto, get a RL 28..

One Czech made SxS that holds up its end nicely.

More proof it ain't the arrow, it's the Injun....

Observations and Comments

1. Poetry in Motion.

No wasted motion, smooth and fast.
The hold points taken, dropped stocks, and dropping the stock for second shot.
The follow through.
Rhythm

2.Concentration.

Concentration is being mentally keyed up - physically relaxed - Misseldine
Focus on the target- not the equipment - Will Fennell

3. Equipment.

Shooting is 90% Mental , 10% Physical.
Physical is gun, gun fit, ammo, patterning, shoes, vest, pouch, glasses, ear plugs, muffs, shoes...
Once the physical is found for you, stop! Don't mess with it!
Obtain back up and spares of the physical things that fit and work for you, still do not mess with the physical.
The mental game is what breaks targets, fells game and keep you safe. Never steal even 1% from the mental, and use for the physical game of shooting.

- Misseldine.
(paraphrased from memory).

-Fun.

I watch them videos and I see so much.
I get a misty eyed too, as I see my Mentors & Elders shooting.
Being on dial up, it took a bit to get those to play, it was worth it. A copy of those would be neat!

I had tunes playing, and I had some ideas.

Vince, you know Vince...*wink*

That club needs Melissa Lambert, Alan Jackson and Allman Bros to show up for a big old shin-dig.

Imagine the ladies, busting birds to "Gunpowder & Lead" ...
The Gents and Ladies busting birds to "Good Time" ...talk about a line dance!

"Jessica", long version and birds being busted on all the fields...

If Bob Seger showed and kicked off "Turn The Page", I am liable to make a durn fool of myself looking for shotgun, shells and gear...

*mind pic*

Dave,

As much as I would be honored to shoot with you and yours...
I would get such a kick watching, learning and pulling targets for you folks.

Oh I would have to have some kid with the pull cord that needs to learn how to pull...I get a kick out of this.

Crazy Quail...I learned from the best pulling this game.
You folks take a break, and watch me pull this game for some others...

If I get lost, just ask where that gal in the cowboy hat was headed...I might be founded down that way too...

What do I need a shotgun for?
There is too much fun as is without one around good folks!

I cannot take me anywhere...really.

After spending this most beautiful Sunday changing out the water pump in ex-wife number two's Taur-ass it was nice to see somebody having fun.
Watching those vid's has given me a big old smile and ended my day quite nicely. I thank all those involved.
sm +1 on the sound track but just under the volume of the player's chatter.
Dave your gut's not that big. Though come Christmas you know Macy's is always looking for another San.....oh never mind....Good night all..Tom

Tom, I'm Jewish and don't do Santa. This HAS come up before.

Ed, youda loved it. See you next Friday?
