I have an older 870P thats starting to look a little worse for wear these days. I believe its actually an old police training gun and then I've shot it plenty myself. It of course functions fine but I wouldn't mind it looking a little nicer again. Its even had a little light rust over the years and I think I'd blast some of it clean. I have a few questions though.
If I wanted to do a bake on at home coating, how much stuff can take it? Does it change clearances too much to coat foreend rails? How bad a job is it to take out shell latches and do the inside of the receiver? How about taking off the rifle sight on the barrel to clean some rusty stuff around its base out?
