With regards to specific firearms and ammo being banned. And with allegations that this someone will seek prosecution against homeowners defending there families and homes.

Let the war begin...

Wow, you can't even the propaganda you are trying to regurgitate right.

Yes you are right... But this change will eventually eat away at our right to "bare arms"...

Its not propaganda, he has said it himself...read up on your presidential nominees.

Let us just wait and see. The One will pass gun control. I can not wait for the in this forum to explain to us that all is good. We will see. I hope they choke on their ammo.

Really? Please show me the quote where he says, "If elected, I will seek prosecution against homeowners defending there families and homes."

I don't think voting yes on Illinois Senate SB 2165 is the same as saying he's going to seek prosecution.

Besides, we all know Obama isn't a good choice for the 2A voters.

Face it, the only way we can be stripped of our 2A right is if we let it happen. It takes an amendment to the constitution, 2/3 vote, ratification, etc...

Call me naive, but even in our liberal HoR I can't fathom that happening. Also, go ahead and call me naive for this too: who had to go turn in their guns/CCW License during the 8 year Clinton regime? I was too young to care back then, but I think the answer is none.

Barack is going to win and we all know it. I'd like to think with as many problems facing America today like an economy in shambles, a pointless and brutally expensive war, and a borderline schizophrenic foreign policy I don't think our non-existant GUN CRIME SPREE EXXXTRAVAGANZA is going to take center stage during Obama's presidency.

At least for the first four years...

And hey, we might even get a national surplus again! I know I don't like being trillions of dollars in debt.

Relax, he has stated that back when he was in congress and has voted on many things regarding exactly that and other things as well.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. We are all skeptical about what is in store for the future regarding our weapons that we love...

He and his mentors have a world view that doesn't have room for gun ownership. Just check out his voting record and the record of all the liberal Democrats that will soon "have their way" with our rights. The goal of many liberal/socialists is to control as many aspects of the people's life as possible. With this comes great control and power. Gun ownership is the most blatant example of individual freedom there is and it is the cornerstone of a free thinking populace. That is why it was so important to the Founding Fathers. Obama and his kind HATE individual gun ownership PERIOD. Don't belive his lies.

I agree Kershaw... But lets all remember something, all politicians are liars. And once they are in office they all have their preplanned agendas.

Good Shot Group:

Discussion of politics on the High Road is against High Road Rules... but it always gets locked down in the end. The Armed Polite Society link on the top right of the High Road Page is the place for political discussion. Respectfully, Good Shot Group

Please excuse me Mods. I am new here... If you would like, please move thread to the correct place. But would love to see what others have to say about the topic as long as we all remain civilized.

Crystal ball has the BSOD at the moment, sorry. But as they say, "When in danger, or in doubt; run in circles, scream and shout."

And with allegations that this someone will seek prosecution against homeowners defending there families and homes.

If we don't get our information correct we end up discrediting ourselves.
