I got to the polls after physical therapy, around 9:45 am. I was voter #343 in the precinct. I had to stand in line for an hour, but did get my vote cast,
and I even have the "I Voted" sticker. I have to say, I love election day...it gives me the opportunity to talk with other folks who hold passionate views of life.
Edit to add: Knock, knock, knock at the door... Hmmm...exit polsters are driving around to see who voted for whom.
Polster: (Looked at my sticker and said) "Oh good...you already voted!"
Me: I sure did...9:45 am, voter #343, and took me an hour.
Polster: Did you vote for the right candidate?
Me: I sure did, I voted for my candidate.
Polster: Puzzled look...
Me: McCain and Palin!
Polster notes the vote, thanks me for voting and leaves.
