Appears to be a fake rifle. From what I can find online, it is pretty much associated with the HALO game or fan fiction. I also cannot find a single real photo of it. They are all rendered. I suppose it is possible that it is a concept weapon, but I cannot find any documentation in a google search to support its actual or potential existence.

I saw that site but i have found it in various other places, the accessories are real but searching "avir" just terns up more renderings, seems like an interesting design and hope something tangible comes along

i seem to remember seeing, somewhere, a funky looking bulldog (i think that's the term for rifles with recievers in the stocks...?) rifle with a weird front grip like the "rifleman"... might have seen it on some history channel show, like Mail Call or something... no idea who made it.

Izaak, are you thinking that it might be a new version of the P-9 or P-90 systems? Those FN Herstals use the 5.7 ammo and the ammo in those drawings looks to maybe be .223/5.56 in design. And what is the Entryman version? A version that has a 12 gauge under it for knocking open doors or what? If so, then that second magazine in front and down low is setting at the wrong angle for using shotgun shells. It is tilted the wrong direction. These guns have got to be renditions and can't yet be real.

If it's a real gun,it will surely be the next banned gun in Massachusetts.

I don't think it has to be real to be banned. Remember back during the 80's when they banned plastic guns that could be carried through metal detectors?

It looks more like an FN2000 but appears to have a helical magazine. No it isn't from Halo either.

No, it isn't directly from the game, but it is associated with Halo fan fiction.

And as DoubleTabDrew and I both pointed out with the link form the jolt forums, it is also pretty much associated with online games

And as I have not been able to find any real manufacturer (the websites say it is made by DDI and SPMC) and nothing but rendered photos primarily on game sites, it is extremely doubtful that this is a real firearm or even a concept by an actual manufacturer.

well that answered the question i suppose, to bad it isn't real, woulda been nice to see somethinglike that available.

and tkk I think you are thinking of the magpul pdr, which is definitly looking good, unfortunately I believe its on the back burner in favor of the masada/acr (not that its a bad thing i suppose)

it looks like a cross between a calico and a p90

as an aside, it would be kinda humorous if Massachusetts banned a fictional gun

Looks like the bastard stepchild of a PS90 and a Kel-Tec RFB
