Normally surplus goes for cheap. Its old, and you gotta clean after, but its well worth it, unless your going hunting. I picked up 70 rounds for around $35-$40 at my local gunshop. Great gun!

I like Yugo ammo the best. Some of it has hard primers so you have to work the bolt again.

If you can reload shells there are a few guides on how to trim .30-06 brass down to what a 7.92x57mm would need. That's how Mag30th does it.

cracked cases were famous on Turk 1947 but any surplus ammo can have those
