most surplus ammo is corrosive. I works fine but clean the rifle as soon as your done. Pitting and rust will happen faster then you would. A guy didn't clean his for two days after he shot it and ruined the barrel.
Be careful opening from the tin if you order from Cheaper than dirt. They don't include a can opener in your order. I tore a nice little chunk out of me thumb on the tin when I tried opening it up.
Decent in terms of accuracy. Good round to go out and have fun at the range with, but as mentioned, its corrosive. Clean the bore out good after you shoot it. Bought mine from ammunitiontogo.com, needed a screwdriver and hammer to open the stuff.
