I've got one. :)

I picked it up (used) 18 months ago from a shop in N.H. It's a great gun. Don't anyone tell me that Japan can't make a good Browning.

I miss mine every day, and if I ever bought another lever action .22, it would be a BL-22 or nothing. I've checked 'em all, and nothing comes close...

I don't know! I sure like my Henry!

This Browning is another classic in my book, just a dandy little .22.

I think it was 1975 or 76 that I recieved a BL-22 as a present from my parents. It's been flawless for all these years with 1000's of rounds through it. Today it's a dedicated squirrel rifle stoked with CCI's CB longs and sits in the corner of my gun room and does see use every week.

Congrats on the rifle, you will have many years of enjoyment with it, as will your children.

I bought mine in 1976 and gave it to my grandson a couple of months ago. A beautiful gun and faithful shooter. Enjoy it!

I absolutly love mine, tack driver. In fact just a couple weeks ago I decided to change scopes. It was wearing a 3-9 that was too big. I put a fixed 4x leupold on it. Ripped the packaging off the Leupold box, eye-balled the mount in the dark, and went shooting the next day, only to find the combo set for a perfect eye relief. (Remember no bore sighting) So off to the range. First shot and I drill the bulls eye, I mean between and touching both the 1 and 0. Then follow it up with four more rounds all touching. Sweet.

Later my I bet my lady I could hit the sliver of white near 1 on the bottom of the below pic. She was looking through a pair of monarch 10X field eyes but still made me shot three shots till she was convinced I was hitting wherever i wanted. The upper right hand was an entire tube offhand at 50, not slow fire.

Rifle was a Browning BL-22 G2, scope was as Leupold FX-1 4x28, distance was 50 yrds.

I've probably mounted a hundred scopes in my day and never been dead on, no adjustment needed. Anyone else ever been that lucky?

Shoot guys, I stopped using targets! My ex-wife ( 30-odd years ago in happier days) and I would go out to the 25-yard pistol range at Williams Gunsite with mine, which mounted a 4X scope, and I'd just set empty .22 cases on the fence...She never missed, and the most entertaining thing was that she was outshooting all the guys. Now when I did it, they didn't have a problem, but when she outshot 'em they'd get mad and leave...

Hello guys! I decided to install mt cheap scope on for now to find out how accurate i can be at 25 to 50yds with my BL22..Its an old scope from my SKS that i use to own..

I don't know about their newer loads, but mine was super accurate with CCI Stingers...There used to be an underground range near here (no crosswinds), and it would shoot under 1" @ 100 yards off the bench with the old 29gr bullet Stingers...

Beautiful gun, good luck with it.

Looks like somethings wrong with the stock though. The checkering looks like it's cut, not pressed in.
