I got it for $400 at a gun show, they were $1,995 new. I need another 1911 like I need a hole in my head but for $400 I couldn't say no.

Well, if yu count layaway, I just paid 3/4 of my $ on an Winchester M-1 Garand in 3006, not all matching but cool condition and great crown and barrel, should be a great shooter, if you want to count actually piced it up, i got a Nice S & W Model 36 Belly gun a few weeks back, it's a Gun thats been coated so not as much collector value with is fne by me, I shoot and carry then I don't own to 'Collect"! As in the case wit the M-1 Garand, I got a Great gun, at a better $ as it's not always a COLLECTR STATUS ITEM! I have no issues with colectors, but nt wiling to pay what they will for matching this or correct that?
