I am unsure what collectors site you were having trouble with, but the S&W forum is the place for all that is S&W.

In preparation for sale over the internet you should plan on getting pictures, and a full discription ready. You can also consider selling the gun at auction on the net. Gun Broker is probably the top auction site, Auction Arms, and others play a roll as well.

You could still post pictures in this thread.
