Ugh
I need a towel for all this drool dripping out of the side of my mouth. I hope the price isn't ridiculous.

i am sure that the price will be in line with thier other videos whicch has been good so far. I have Art of The Tactical Carbine 1 and 2 and they are outstanding, i have been hoping and wanting them to come out with a handgun vid, and now i am super excited that it is actually comming. thanks for posting.

idpa4u,
that is correct, and that is right in line with the other vids. this dvd set os 4 dvds, and over 7 hours of instruction.

$49.95 for four DVDs? Sounds like a really good price compared to other instructional videos... tactical response's fighting pistol, for instance, is double the price.

and thier fighting rifle dvd is high as heck too. i have seen all of the above, and own most of them the magpul are better qaulity more info and priced right! the only video that i thin is a must have from tactical response is "shooting missology" it could have been better quality wise, and it ended a little to soon, but it is full of good info.

i have trained at tactical response, i would rather spend the money on a course, then but thier fighting pistol and rifle vids.

The carbine series is great.

I'm really looking forward to this new handgun series. I wish I had the $$ to take the classes in person!

h20man,
that is awesome, please let us know what you think! i am sure it wil be great. i can't wait to get it myself.

i like magpul products, but no to this. massad ayoob had the essentials down 25 years ago. alternative cocking techniques, ninja ground rolls, extended mags, no thanks. buy ammo, take a class and go shoot.

I got the DVD and gee there's still a lot of things to learn there even you are already shooting for a while. some of the operators there are marines, SWAT training officers and the red head is college student here in Geargia State University (she started not good but after a while i think she now has better fundamentals than me). It changed my view on how i will practice in IDPA and really how to operate tactically. For example I would discipline myself to power rack my 1911 slide everytime now even on admin reloads vs slide lock release which i've always used.

Question to you folks. I already have the tactical carbine 2. Is it still really adviceable to get the tactical carbine 1? (I already attended tactical carbine classes).

Good Video, One thing though. It really burns me up to see someone turning a gun sight sideways:banghead: I guess if a perp is 5 feet from you it would work. But if they are 20 feet away you aint putting any lead on the target, seems like a good way to run out of ammo before the job is done to me.

Sounds like you could benefit from the "Shooting Missology" DVD Yeager made. Great video, you will learn a lot and will shoot better after.

I'd also like to add, one of the classes I took actually introduced this concept to us with the gun naturally tilting inward when shooting one handed. Guess what, if you use your sights correctly and press the trigger correctly you will shoot every bit as good compared to having the gun straight up and down. If you don't, it's not the gun, it's the shooter!

I can't vouch for this set of videos, but their tactical carbine videos were excellent. Not only did you get the eye candy of them running the class and the lecture, but they also provided a set of drills done at real speed and slow speed that can help you break down your actions into component motions. Not a substitute for live instruction, but very useful nonetheless.

I imagine this DVD set is about the same.

Mike

I have had the Dynamic Handgun DVDs for about 2 weeks now. It was well worth the money IMO.
Everything is presented well and easy to understand. I have watched the DVD set a few times and have been applying some what they teach while I am at the range, so far it has worked out well. Haley and Costa are excellent instructors and they work well together.

Yes....the Red Head is HOT !

he has no where near the real world experience of these guys. also ever heard of dogmatic doctrine? it is a very real thing, and that is a prime example. so you are saying that we should be doing the same thing that was figured out 25 years ago, even if there is a possibility that there is something out there that might make you more lethal? that is absolutly crazy to me. no thanks i will continue to train, and go outside of the realm of the "old school" guys.
