I'm rewarding myself with a new M4 type rifle (I still haven't decided on whether to get a Bushy or Horsey brand, though.. ). Whichever brand of rifle that I do finally settle on, I don't plan on ordering it until sometime next week..

My Benelli Sporting II is somewhere between here and Italy, and my CMMG upper is going to be ordered after the 1st. But, my SO got her Benelli SBE already so I'm not exactly hurting with a new toy to try right now.

I guess I contributed to Cactus getting his Heinie custom 1911 (and indirectly to ltwtcmdr's sale) by buying a .35 Whelen Remington Classic from Cactus that now is wrapped and sitting under the tree.

I put a marinecote mossberg 500 on layaway. WOuld have just paid for it but other's christmas gifts and a few bills got in the way.

I'm afraid I'm gonna splurge this time, though I hadn't intended to... I've got a Marlin 60 waiting to be picked up. That was going to be it... but then I looked at AIM to check Mauser prices for a friend, and what did they have sitting there but K31s for $89. So I'm afraid one of those and a case of 7.5 Swiss might wind up here as well...

Initially I was just going to renew my range membership, since it had lapsed a few months ago. (I know, I know bad I.G.B.), but it turned out my mother-law decided to purchase that for me.

So instead I am going to purchase either an SA GI milspec, XD9 or XD9 Compact. Still havent decided fully, but I am leaning towards the XD9 Compact.

Xmas Morning

As I have no children, I'm setting my alarm for 4:30 -- I'm bringing a couple each handguns/longuns to an outdoor range so I can check-out the muzzle flash in the early morning darkness....: 9mm, .38 Special, .30-.30, 7.62X39

I bought myself one of those Mitchells Mausers (Yugo M48A) from CDNN and a Sig Trailside Competition and 2 Glock 17 mags for the G34 I will be purchasing in 30 days.

I am asking everyone for at least some cash to go towards a scope I want.

I haven't got my christmas presents yet, but I'm getting a UltraMag 50 and a quick change barreled FAL.
