I noticed most of my collecting friends have at least 1 "pimp gun" in their collection. Mine is a S&W 39-2 nickel with mother of pearl grips. Whats yours?

Critter,

That's an old first model Iver Johnson .32 that I got from an old friend. It was made in the late 1800s and was cut down a LONG time ago. The hammer is also bobbed. It's in lousy condition but it's a neat little piece that probably belonged to a card player at one time :)

:D:D Interesting thread, and subject. :p

When I was in Jr.High, one of the toughest old WW2 Pacific Theatre Marine veterans I've ever known, who was also the local Sheriff, carried a highly engraved, gold plated, mother of pearl handled 1911.

I don't remember anyone laughing at it.:p

I guess today it would be a "pimp gun." :uhoh: But he killed at least 3 men with it, that I know of.

I also have an old Ivers Johnson

I guess if I had a "Pimp" gun, it would be my Series 70

I don't really have a pimp gun, but if I were to buy one, it would be a gold plated Desert Eagle 50AE.

However, I think slicked up, nickle or polished stainless SAA revolvers with pearl or ivory grips are pretty pimp.

Oh, yeah...I forgot. I just polished this one out and threw on some fake ivory grips for a pimp effect.:D
