What was the weather like in the Midwest or on the East Coast?
Because it was 75 in AZ. again. While you guys were out shoveling snow, (or what ever the hell you do in the arctic) we were out shooting sporting clays.
I thought I’d continue my AZ. shooting vacation with a round of sporting clays at The Picacho Sporting Club http://www.picachosportingclub.com/index.html . They’re located about 45 minutes north of Tucson.
I hadn’t been there in few months, so I was anxious to see if they had made any changes.
They’ve still got 10 fully automatic stations, with a good variety of targets. It’s mostly a skeet / IC course, but still fun.
I hooked up with some "locals" and we shot the course. The targets were challenging but fair. The guys I shot with were really friendly. Good guys, good targets, good weather, what more can you ask for?
If you’re thinking of taking a vacation this winter, AZ. or So. Cal. has some great shooting.
Here’s a link to some pictures I shot there last summer.

And here’s one from yesterday.
