I'm always interested in how different bullets react on game.
Seen these kills with the 155 Scenar? The pics start here and go on for several pages http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthr...pics/5013929/3 Check out the wide range of impact velocities. Looks like the empty tip folds and encloses/protects the core so it acts kinda like a mono bullet retaining it's weight. Might tumble too, kinda hard to say since not one had been found even on elk. Heck of a surprise to me I always considered the Scenar a target bullet only.
If the 100gr shared the same jacket with the 108 and 123 then it might have done double duty as a target and hunting bullet like the 155 gr Scenar does in .308.
Anyone have a link to gel tests of the 6.5mm Scenars?
There's a big WT deer and an antelope dropped with 139 Scenars too. I'm hoping to find out about the 100 and 108 though. This paragraph is cut from a Bill Alexander article.

"In ballistic gelatin tests, the Lapua 108-grain Scenar launched at a muzzle velocity of 2750 fps penetrated 22" of gelatin with a .43" diameter and 64% weight retention at a distance of 300 yards. As a more casual test, the Lapua 108-grain bullet consistently sliced through 4" pine posts at 900 yards."
