As most of us know the law requires that the muzzle of toy guns and Air-Soft replicas be painted bright orange. For example, I have a very realistic looking Thompson SMG replica but the Cutts compensator is painted bright orange.
What if I painted the muzzle device of my AR-15 day glow orange? That would make it look like a toy or an Air Soft replica to a casual observer. (like the state trooper who pulls me over) Is there any law against painting part of your gun orange?
