My Springfield 1911 TRP. This is my first 1911, firgured I should get one being its the anniversary year. I've always been a double/single action guy. My baby is my Sig P226 Navy. I like it because its tough as nails, 100% reliable and accurate. However, not quite as accurate is this beauty. So, I put the Springfield through its paces with a 250 round steel match w/ absolutly no cleaning... not even a boresnake, and it functioned flawlessly. Even got me 4th place in limited division. (This is my 3rd competition) needless to say, I love my 1911. I am at the moment giving it the thorough cleaning it deserves. Wow do I have buildup in the rifling though. Anyone else have a TRP? Or just a 1911? What do you think of them? Pics welcome. Have a good one gents.
