Arrrrg....that be a fine blunderbuss ye have there matey, should work well in repelling those scurvy boarders and marauders.

(yes, it is Talk Like a Pirate Day!)

That's some gorgeous wood, 303tom. I'm having trouble believing its the original stock or that it wasn't heavily refinished, considering what I've seen what some Turks have done to their rifles. What'd you pay for that beauty?

Only thing is, bubba got a hold of it before I could, explaining the bent bolt.

I would call that more of a customization. You can use a torch to straighten that bolt back out without damaging whatever historical value it may have.

I've been shooting my 8mm Mauser for 50 years and I can't seem to wear it out. Have to reload for it though. That factory stuff just does not do it justice. I've shot everything from rabbits to deer and they have all been very impressed with it.

Allied troops landing at Normandy were met by hails of 8 mm mauser bullets from many MG 42s , not a pretty sight. Our salute to brave unknowns who had to face this deadly fire so freedom can be attained.

Love my 4 turks. 2 are KKales and two are reworked German. Great for deer (long enough to lean it against the deer for precision shot placement ) or just having a fun day shooting.
