Well, I finally broke down and bought two inserts, .32 and 7.62x25, for my mosins. I have a ton of .32 for my nagant revolvers, and thousands of tok/cz52 rounds. Most of the feedback I have heard was positive. So I jam a .32 mag into the insert and pop it in my m44, because I want to try a short barrel first. According to the ad; "noise similar to a high-end pellet rifle." Ha! Maybe a high end air cannon. I then tried a .32 SHORT! Jeez. So much for target shooting around the house. I must admit, tho, the inserts work like a charm. The spent shells just fall out. I bet the toks are REALLY loud. Still, 30 bucks well spent.

Sportsmans Guide. PLease understand, they are far from my favorite vendors, but they did have the inserts.

I have the x25 insert and have used it in my 91-30. It's fun...it's like shooting a .22LR. Can't remember if I tried it without ear protection but I do remember thinking it was quiet.

Didn't test for accuracy really...I was just plinking at random.

I did notice that if I didn't have the x25 round seated firmly in the chamber insert I would get some puncturing of the primers. Immediately after extraction they are hard to remove but once the brass cools and shrinks they fall out easily.

Cool, I'll have to call and see if I can drop in
Oh, remember to remove and clean between the camber and adapter, esp. with corrosive ammo.

I could not find the inserts on sportsman guide...
What search criteria are you using to find them?

...wonder if there is a 7.62 x 39 insert, for the Mosin Nagant?

Who cares, #7? They don't have mosin inserts.
I beg your pardon, did you even look at their site, or bother to call them ? Because if you did you would know this.....

ONLY $35.00 EACH PLUS $3.00 S&H per insert!
Hundreds of other calibers are available! We specialize in foreign, antique and wildcat calibers-all you have to do is send us a fired unsized case or chamber casting for an exact match to your rifle. For these special orders, please allow 8-12 weeks for delivery.

Yes I did, as per #7, and all I saw were .22 inserts, and others, but no mosins. Mr. cob, I do not do this much, and myself and this site are not touting sportsmans guide. The .32 insert is wx2-0167404, and the tok is wx2-0180308. They are 15 bucks each. I am doing this only because you are in florida and I do not want you to get ripped off two for one buying them from alaska. I suggest that if you want to continue your hobby you learn how to search sites. Good luck and I hope this helped.
