I just picked this up today on a local deal. The picture does not do this pistol justice. It is perfect in every way. It does not look like it was fired since it left the factory. The serial number puts its birth date in 1976. I paid $500.00 for it which I think is a fair price.

Very nice 3rd Gen DS. Those stocks really look nice.

I picked up a 3rd Gen DS last month, '75 birthdate, and nickel. They're a ball to shoot.

Mine is in the same condition. Doesn't have a mark on the recoil shield.

That's a great price. Enjoy.

Very nice, I picked up a Colt Agent last week that I'm very happy with but now I want a DS to go with it!

Have the same year in Nickel. If it'd been shot outside of the factory test fire I certainly can't tell. Sat somewhere for 35ish years methinks.

Need to polish it up a wee bit

Ghostman,

You got a good price on that one for sure, they are fine carry guns.

THIEF ! Ha You stole that one dude! What a beauty, that one would look very nice next to my 6" Python. Wish I could find the deals ya'll are finding. Take care of that one, very nice piece.

Mine's a year older, and in nickel. It's with its baby brother, which was built in 1993. Don't those Gen 3 DS's just define "belly gun"?
