Got a chance to buy a very nice Remington 341-P bolt action 22 rimfire rifle. It was built May 1936 (date code KE). It is fully functional, cycles ammo perfectly. Bluing is very good with no rust, bore is perfect, the stock at some time was lighty sanded but do well and looks well done.

He wants $225. I was looking for a tube feed 22 what do you guys think of the 341-P's

Thanks

Definitely buy it. Those old Remingtons are great shooters and $225 isn't a bad price especially if its in as good of condition as you say.

Hey Folks,
The last gun show I went to one of the vendors had one for $160.
I told the guy I'd buy it for $150, but he didn't go for it.

It had a decent peep sight on it.

Pa Pa's old 341-P

I think I inherited his Remington in the mid '60's and used it quite a bit as a young kid on squirels and possums. It shot perfectly and accurate. By the early '80's it ended up in a closet for 20+ years. I dragged it out in 2001 to rectify a possum problem on the property and it worked perfectly. (and cured the problem) I just got it back from the gun-smith to cure a stuck bolt and get it cleaned up and checked out. Peep sight equiped is nice. Once again, this little 1937 model shoots perfectly every time I sqeeze.
