.308 vs .30-06 vs .300 winmag

Most 30-06 ammo is cheaper that 308 ammo, off the shelf. It's a LOT easier to find. I'd go with the 30-06. In fact, I have!

This is pretty much where I'm at. For my hunting rifle I went with 30-06 as I mostly didn't want to have debates with my hunting buddies aboutbhownthe 308 is just as good.
