Adding a shoulder stock to a handgun?

Yup. Even if it said to be for "looks" just having that stock off of the gun and under the same roof it might as well be on the gun.

probably not, the muzzle needs to be at least 16" from the bolt face, as well as permanently attached i.e., pinned and welded

Yes -- IF the fake suppressor was pinned and welded (permanently attached) and brought the length from the closed breechface to the muzzle of the fake can to 16".

AND, if the "fake" can doesn't actually produce any sound reduction at all, which may also not be true. Some "fake" cans have had to be taken off the market as (while not great suppressors) they provided enough noise reduction to be considered unregistered Title II firearms.

The stock itself is enough to prove that the seller (at best) doesn't have any idea what he's doing wrong and how dangerous this is.

Unregistered Title II firearm = $250,000 fine AND 10 years in jail.

There are only a handful of pistols that don't require SBR paperwork when equipped with original, vintage shoulder stocks (Lugers, Broomhandle Mausers, I'm not sure about Hi Powers) and I don't think MAC/Ingram clones are among them. I wouldn't have anything to do with this one.

And what the heck is a "MAC 10 style UZI" ? Is that something like a Colt 1911 style Glock?

Oddball ad copy, advertised on an open forum without any mention of SBR paperwork? This one just doesn't pass the smell test; maybe the seller is just ignorant, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of sting.

Only certain High Powers qualify for exclusion from AOW considerations. I don't have the ATF reg right at hand, but Inglis High powers made under Chinese contract w/ the original wooden stock are part of that group.

Most people know almost nothing of SBR and AOW regs, and believe supressors and machine guns are illegal.

Just poke around on youtube for awhile and see if you can count how many SBR/SBS are constructed, and how many VFGs get attached to pistols. People just don't know. Not that ignorance is an excuse.

Yes, absolutely. Don't touch or take (even if offered for free!) the stock (and maybe not that "fake" can, either) and you'd be fine.
