Valley Forge, PA Gun show, March 13th-14

I'll be there on saturday. 6'0" 230lb w/ goatee looking at every arsenal SAM-7 that's out on the tables.

I'll be sure to wear some Kahki cargo pants and a red long sleeve shirt with white stripes on the arms. I'll almost certainly be there with a friend wearing a black fedora and a black leather jacket looking at every Savage in .300 RUM he comes across.

If you tell me you'll be there wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt with a confederate flag on it and a yellow CATERPILLER hat driving a late model F150 with a pro 2A bumper sticker...i may just have to smite you.

If you're too embarassed to come up and say "hey, are you that clubsoda guy?" casually mention a thread on THR to your buddy while standing behind me.

I'm 5'6" and I'll try to remember to wear my tan Molon Labe cap.
 
I'd like to make it over again Jamie but .. have decided to try and get down to MD shoot that day .... hoping tho all being well .. see ya at the 28th shoot.

Oops . I'm confusing myself now!! haha!

In fact ... here we go ... Sat 13th I am off to Lebanon ... so part the ways there ..... but my flying club has this annual ''pilgrimage'' to the show there and we get our fuel and stuff ....... THEN .... on Sun 14 ... is the MD shoot.

Result .. weekend all taken up!

It's ok ....... it's all down to age (or senility) ----- or both!:D

hats....hmm. Why the heck don't we have THR gunshow hats? Imagine who you might run into at the range or at gunshows?
 
Hoping to get out to Valley Forge....

Kinda strange actually, but my girlfriend said and I quote, "Hey I heard about this gun show, and since your birthday is coming up in a few weeks, do you want to go and see if we can find you a RAMI?" :what: :D

Well I sure feel like a lucky man, she's a keeper! The best part is that my birthday isnt until the 28th, but it seems that I might get my present on the 13th or 14th.

Anyone think any RAMI's might show up at Valley Forge?

Not sure when we are going yet.

British camo field jacket that I bought over there last year. 6' 2" 250 Maybe brit cammo pants too. I'll keep an eye out for you guys.
 
I'll be there. grey fedora, black jeans, 5'9", clean shaven, looking at makarovs and PA-63s, probably a black leather jacket with flames up the sleeves. probably somewhere around clubsoda drooling over his new gun.

I got out of work early today and decided to swing by. I turned around and came home after I saw the NO PARKING signs near the main entrance.

I saved some money by now going.:rolleyes:
 
I got there today at about 12:30. The "Parking Lot Full" signs were already out, but I went around them and had no problem finding a spot. I didn't buy any guns (since I bought a S&W Model 15-2 last night) but picked up a few odds and ends, and some ammo.

Didn't manage to meet any THRers, unfortunately. Looking forward to the PA THR shoot at the end of the month.
 
was there today. I was kinda dissapointed that the one gun i wanted was not there (at least for any reasonable price). I found ONE Arsenal SAM-7 and the guy had it priced at $790!!! That's about a 30-35% markup. The guy was insane for thinking he could get that much for one.

So i found a FFL that i know, who's owner i've gone shooting with, who my buddy also works for (www.davidsguns.com). I showed him a distributor price list of the gun i was looking for. Turns out they're one of his distributors. He told me he'd hook me up.

So, just to make my $7 admission be not a total waste, I picked up 4 brand new in the wrapper bulgarian 30rd waffle mags for $60 total (Kvar would have cost 80+shipping).

Now i have magazines and optics...i just need the rifle.
 
You are aware that the show in question happened five years ago, right?
 
Ah, gotcha. When I was at the show (IIRC, two years ago), they were doing the FL CCW thing.
