Yup "8mm Mauser" also known as 7.92x57mm.

Hoofan nailed it ! And yes; 8mmx57 Mauser if it hasn't been altered. Looks to be in great shape.
My M24/47 is a great shooter (1-1/4" @ 100 and 3" @200) with my handloads and Nosler 180grn Ballistic Tips.
Those Yugo's are nice shootin mausers!

I will 2nd that....the wood and hardware look very good. I don't see import marks on the side shown....if it doesn't have any import marks that adds to the asking price (pre 1968 import or possible GI bringback) in my book.
