Well I got to handle one at the LGS today. I like it. It points well, the trigger is improved, it comes with multiple backstraps and 2 magazines. I like that it comes with 3 mags. It looks like I will be adding one to the collection. The listed price was $669.00. Another item to note is its weight. The difference between a G21 and the G41 is quite noticeable.

Hey queen which is heavier the 21 or the 41 I assume the 41 but you know what they say about assume

Its to my understanding the new G41 has a longer slide? If so would this make target acquisition more difficult?

miles1, a longer slide makes on difference in sight acquisition. If you're practiced with the gun, it'll be fast.

I'd love to get one, but they're all listed at $800 local.

I have handled but not shot one.
The bare grip without add-on backstrap is about the angle of the G21SF.
It presents on target better for my 1911 reflexes than other Glocks.

I got one yesterday. Slide is thinner than G21, I believe it's same width as a G34-35, or was it the G36? It's the same frame as Gen4 G21SF, but weighs less due to the thinner slide and barrel. Four backstraps, two with beavertails for those needs 'em. Feels great in my hand just like it is, but it will be losing the factory adjustable sights for some nice tritium ones, soon as I make up my mind what kind I want.

I went from the G17 to the G35 when I upgraded to a .40 duty weapon. There is something about the longer slide that seemed to glue the muzzle on target. In fact, during the first range session, there was a little voice in the back of my head saying "lock phasers on target.":neener:

If you like the 21, you'll probably find the 41 to be your soul mate. One thing I did notice was that you might need to look at more cant with the longer barrel in some holsters due to the longer barrel, but I've learned to deal with it. (The first few times I sat down in the cvpi, it tended to push my belt up and found a VERY tender part of my side to jab...)
