Montana Gold 95gr. jhp 380 and have a few hundred horn. 90gr. xtp #35500. Hope iam not out of place to ask about some help but I just picked up some power pistol &w231 Up North. I Would like to find some load data for the Montana gold 95gr bulk as I will be setting up my dillion SDB to my next caliber as the LGS was out and I just found about a half box mixed 380 and am chompping at the bit to try HER out! OH Biker doc took care of me on the shell caseings as I have them nickel, ready to roll. Please bare with my spelling. Thanks J. I do have hornady book and some Data to go by but I would like to see what one thinks and likes as I love power pistol for my 45 loads!

If you want something hotter, My normal is 4 grns of Unique with a 90 to 95 grn JHP at .984 col. That has been accurate and reliable for years for me. Check your manual though, some say a bit less then 4 grns is max.

I have used 4.0gr of Win231 with the Hornady 90 XTP out of my Bersa Thunder. It clocks at 1000+ fps. My Speer manual lists 4.0gr as max for 95 bullets using Win231 (starting load 3.6).

I am currently running 4.5gr Unique behind a 90 XTP for 1035 fps, .97" OAL in my Glock 42. The Speer book suggests .98 OAL, but rounds will hang up in the mag. I am confident this pistol can easily handle the heavier loading and it has done well to date.

Good luck

M

Thank you guys. Ive been having problems with my shoulders and today they were killing me! I really want to shoot that 42!

Not sure about lead bullets in Glocks...I run plated in my 9mm and have no issues and know of others running lead (in 9mm) without issues but I'm not sure what Glocks "party line" is about lead in the G42.
