so i finally got my 380 dies in last week. the only powder i have left is bullseye which i plan on using for this load. I have about 500 100 gr copper plated xtreme bullets. I have the lee manual and they don't list this combo.

from searching on the web i found the combo to be around:
2.7gr - 3.0gr (max is about 3.2) @ AOL about .975

I was think about loading some at 2.6, 2.8, and 3.0.

have you guys use this combo and what do you think? too high? similar results? thanks in advance.

3.3 is Max according to the 2002 Alliant Powder Guide.

Reduce about 10% for the starting load of 2.9.
Then work up 0.1 at a time.

Watch your brass carefully for any signs of 'guppy-belly' bulging at the feed ramp cut.

At the first sign of that, back off 0.1 grain and call it good.

There are No Other pressure signs with a .380 ACP.

BTW: What kind of gun are you shooting them in?

Locked breech which is good.

I don't know how much unsupported feed ramp they have.
So watch for bulged brass as I said above.

I use missouri 95 RN lead bullet over 2.8 grains of Bullseye powder at .975
runs great in both PPK/S and Ruger LCP

Been using 3.1g. B.E. W/100g. RNFP Extremes, 100 g. RNFP fromEverglades in my G42 and my Bersa T. eats em up and spits em out. Anything less will not cycle in both. I'am @ a way shorter OAL. Do the plunk test?

I am loading 98grn lead round nose with bullseye.

I am using 2.4grn and it shoots well and makes my little lcp fun to shoot.

Love me some bullseye!

Have also loaded xtp's with 3.0grn of bullseye with good luck in my lcp
