I am 80 and still shooting. After an eye injury I needed glasses. And had prescribed glasses for shooting. They were safety glasses. And my shooting is still very accurate.

Try buying some reading glasses from the drug store. I use 1.50. Sights are bit fuzzy but gets me close.

Congratulations! That's super impressive. Extremely rare these days to be at a company for so long. Many people will not even have that opportunity due to closings, layoffs, etc.

Congratulations!! 44 years with one company is truly remarkable these days. It not only tells a lot about you, but also, about your company. The gift shows that the company not only appreciated your work, but appreciated you as a person so that they knew your passions. Remember this, being retired means you don't have to wait until Saturday to go to the range. It's a great hobby for us old guys.
