Oregon sheriff says proposed gun background-check law won't be enforced

That's the problem, the congresscritters pass law after law to solve problems (real or imagined) leaving the Administrative branch woefully short handed to enforce them and often when they do the Judicial declares the laws null and void making the expense wasted assets that could have gone to better things.

Josephine county is out of money to run the S.O.! It has tried to pass numerous tax levies since loosening Timber funds from the government. The money set aside for when those funds ran out were raided by unethical Sheriff's & county officials! That is why the citizens here WILL NOT vote money for the county! They waste or steal it! The citizens would rather have no S.D. than the corruption that has gone on for over 25 years now! This is indeed a bad situation for all involved! Especially with the current situation in the Merlin/Galice area! The sheriff has no choice as to choosing the crimes he enforces! It is triage! He has to go after the felons! Misdemeanors are not even brought to the D.A. unless it is important! The S.O. has lost the support of the people! And they are going to have a hard time getting it back! This county is in for some rough times ahead!
