The display model seemed fine but the one I bought (last one in stock) has the worst trigger I've felt on a Glock. 8-8.5 lbs measured and spongy on take up and let off. The actual break is crisp enough and the reset is fine but it's like it takes a while for the trigger to extend. Oiling it up seemed to help a little but it's still pretty bad. Typical or not?

Oil isn't the answer.

Slick grease on the contact points of the striker and trigger bar are.

As well as using it enough for the springs to take a set, and the parts to wear into each other.

The one you tried at the store has probably been cocked & snapped 1,000 times by customers & salesmen.

Your new gun hasn't been.

It will get better.

Cool, thanks. Though I'm pretty sure the display model was still warm from the mold. :D

They just got a batch of 130 of them in, and sold them in 2 days.

They didn't sell the display model under the glass counter they let everyone play with I betcha!

That's the one they let everyone coon finger till it's worn slick.

They sell the new in the box guns that ain't been coon fingered slick yet.

Like the one you bought.

Ghost Edge connector. The ones I got for our 42s say they fit the 43 also. The propaganda for the 42's Ghost Edge says it drops the weight by at least 3# ... I believe that based solely on feel.
