I was wondering if Californians can own or possess an AK-47 pistol?
As simple as that? No, there are no ak47 pistols on the roster of approved handguns in California. For one to be sold, it would have to be sold as a Single Shot pistol, and because of recent changes to the law, it would have to have been manufactured as a single shot pistol. In other words, it was originally manufactured with a single shot sled locked into place with the bullet button. Yes, there are likely some places that are doing that, I'm not really sure because I'm not into them, but I have seen them on the walls in a few LGSs.Yeh, basically I should have asked is there anyway that a standard AK-47 (pistol) Romanian, with a detachable 30 round magazine, can be sent to a FFL dealer in California. Secondly does any one make one with a fixed magazine (10 round) with a bullet button, in the state of California?
