Well, I'm not exactly sure what the point of this service is. Seems like if you can afford $88/month for 9mm ammo, you can afford to save up and buy a case at a time. I've never shot Atlanta Arms ammo, but it seems that Freedom Munitions (which is highly regarded from everything I've read about them) is quite a bit cheaper at $86/250 rounds of 9mm. This price also carries over for .223 ammo, and their shipping is more expensive than Freedom Munitions (not to mention the MUCH larger selection they offer).

Neat concept. I mean they SAY guaranteed ammo. But can they deliver that promise?.. That would be the only reason to sign up. Guaranteed ammo when no one else can get it. Otherwise just buy when you want to.

Did I read that right, Freedom is selling 250 rounds of 9mm for $86? Is that the Sandy Hook panic price or is that today's price?
$.34 per round for reloaded plinking 9mm?
Federal's one-shot manstopper 9BPLE, the ultimate 9mm round ever made, costs less money than that!

No, that's for 115gr XTP defensive ammo, which is what Sendmeammo.com is also selling on their front page. I listed that so I could compare apples to apples.

Freedom Munitions sells 115gr RN plinking ammo for $48.60/250 rounds.

i didnt know that you were citing defensive rounds, so that makes sense in your context of an apples to apples comparison.

But I'm not sure that i'd buy defensive rounds from a reloader.
And 9PBLE smokes the XTP in my little dream world. :D

i appreciate everyone's input but i think we are a bit off topic.

if you look at the options available under the various calibers you will see they offer lower cost remanufactured ammo. if i compare the price of a few hundred rounds of wwb from walmart after tax it is not much cheaper than what this site offers including shipping.

the convenience of having it delivered to my door every month makes this an attractive option. not spending my money at walmart is icing.

was just hoping to hear from someone that has done business with them.

thanks
steve

Sendmeammo.com has lousy prices for questionable ammunition. There are too many good ammunition suppliers out there that do mail order services to make a subscription model such as sendmeammo.com's viable.
