Okay, I bought them. What do they fit?

"Cocaine is God's way of saying you have too much money" (according to Comedian Robin Williams)

I'm going to add to that rule, "buying ivory grips without knowing exactly what they fit"

In any case, these are pretty cool grips, and whoever carved them spent an enormous amount of time on them. I was hoping they'd fit my early 50's vintage K22, but as you can see, they are designed for a larger gun. Maybe I need to track down one of those Hong Kong police issues? They do alegedly fit a S&W, but the seller didn't know which one.

I would be concerned about mounting them on a powerful caliber revo, as it would be a shame to break any of the delicate carved sections.

Ideas?

Hah!
You can probably buy several guns to put them on for what those are worth!
Lucky guy...They sure woulda' made my day...Congrats...

okay, I do have a 1985 vintage M27. I think they are for an N frame, but obviously there's some variations compared to later guns. I wonder how much the butt configuration has changed over the years?
