Colorado's thug law only bans transfer, not possession, past the drop dead date.
All over the state, gun shops and everyone else are openly flouting the law.
Dagnabbit, I think it's missing a spring. The cylinder only advances if you cock the hammer while the muzzle is pointed down. The pawl isn't held against the cylinder.
Anyone know of a schematic for this gun?
So it looks like it's between .38 S&W and .38 Short Colt. Will only one fit? Is there a chamber pressure difference between the two? I read that some of the .38s were black powder instead of smokeless, I'd imagine it would damage the gun if I fired a smokeless cartridge in it if it wasn't...
So this is the revolver we found in my grandmother's bottom drawer after her death.
It's a Remington No. 4 revolver.
No caliber is marked, but it's a centerfire.
I read that this gun was made in both .38 and .41. But what ammo will fit it?
In .38, there is:
.38 S&W
.38 Long...
From the BATFU's perspective, it is better to issue a letter saying something is OK, let someone sink their savings into it, then declare it retroactively illegal and bankrupt them. This hurts gun owners more and destroys more small businesses than if they declared it illegal in the first...
Since my current state did something stupid, moving is on the table.
How are WA and OR with regard to the following:
Private sales without background check
Standard cap magazines
Few CCW restrictions (eg. can't carry in any gathering of over 30 people, etc.)
No AWB
No registration...

This means a need for serious heavy equipment.
What kind of $ investment are we talking about here?
Investors may be involved.
The only place...
They are an extra option that is hard to get to in the heat of the moment. Simply wave the light rapidly from side to side across the subject's face - it works just as well and is far easier to do than finding the strobe option in a flashlight's menu. Try it yourself.
What I'm talking about is a movie/tv show where having and using firearms is just a normal part of life, not related to the main story at all.
That is, the characters are shown as owning firearms for recreation and defense, but the guns are never used for a story-related purpose (shooting the...
Finally got to test this modification in the AK, as it's completely legal for me to do this. It fires once on pull and once on release. Puts two shots into 2" at 25 yards with some practice, at practically FA rates of fire. However, there is no auto-sear, so releasing the trigger too fast...
Because the religion is pretty peaceful and has not been traditionally associated with being antagonistic or militant, the AK can share space with a representation of Buddhist thought without being threatening, as some antis might feel would be the case if the book in question were a Bible...
I could care less what Deepak Chopra thought about firearms. I do care what the Buddhas think about them, and they say that defending yourself with lethal force is A-OK, as long as you do so with love in your heart. Yes, you can shoot someone and love them all the same.
Besides, picking...
