Not a gunsmith, screenwriter, or WWII historian, but my $.02 is mess with the sears. Many of the range mishaps mentioned here over the years are due to slam fires, inadvertent full auto, etc.
Impairing accuracy won't really harm spray and pray suppressive fire, or real short range stuff...
Received an urgent alert this morning from the NRA-ILA to get in touch with my State reps about a couple of gun bills; one shifting the burden of proof in SYG to the prosecution and, the other, clarifying castle doctrine. They even included Governor Scott's email. Unfortunately, my Governor is...
Maybe get a helium balloon, go the the base, let it up until buddy at shooting bench says it is at top of dam, pull down string and measure.

Maybe a few double rifles, some in .416 Rigby, or just .45-70?
Very interesting discussion.
If you just want to get blood levels down, do everything. If you want to find source, do one thing at a time and keep getting tested. Might also be interesting to test water, and other members of the household.
Good luck
Gun Locks
We used to live in RI; their laws stipulate that if someone commits a crime in gaining access to your firearm, you are held harmless for any thing they may do with it.
