    Grand Power in 9mm Makarov

Very cool! I like 9mm mak. Did not even know they made such a thing. Now, I will have to see if I can put my hands on one........... Congrats, should be a lot of fun.

    I want a 6.5 AR in a 5.56/223 case like the 300BO

I think I get your ask better now. 6.5 PCC is out there, I never heard of it till I went looking for an option; https://rifleshooter.com/2014/11/6-5-patriot-combat-cartridge-6-5-pcc-6-5mm-wildcat-for-the-ar15m-16/ Article from 2014, so I'm not sure it took off. But, is a start point.

    I want a 6.5 AR in a 5.56/223 case like the 300BO

Why not a 6.5mm Grendel? I would think something out there would work for you without going wildcat. About anything which can be mashed into an AR mag has been done I think. Sorry if I am not tracking. What are you trying to do with said round?

    Clark Custom Guns

More than likely they have a lot of work for other platforms and may not have a 1911 gunsmith on staff now. I'm on a wait list for one of their S&W 41 uppers as they haven't been able to get the barrels for them for a long time now.

    Optics on your concealed carry?

They are not for me. Working to like them more, but I'm not of the generation (or maybe mentality) to go that way. Hunting pistol or target; yes, am liking that a bit. But, not on a carry gun as I don't like the bulk and they are not as fast for me now. I may change my mind but I don't have...

Can a CZ75B fit in a Czech surplus CZ52 leather holster?

I think the 92 holster would be a much better bet as it is closer to a 75 in dimensions. Used to be you could get a CZ52 holster for $10 or so at a show, in which case, I would give it a try. Now, seems they have gone up a fair amount and may not work well in the end. There are also US...

    Charter Arms 32 cal revolvers

Another vote to look at the Taurus .327. Front night sight is $30 from Taurus, trigger upgrade was another $30 or so, not that it "needed" either of them but they were worth it to me. It is a heavy gun but I am happy with it. Quick look and the Taurus seems to be even cheaper than the...

Can a CZ75B fit in a Czech surplus CZ52 leather holster?

I just gave it a try, did not succeed in getting the loop over the stud for the flap. The 75 is thicker (as is the mag) than the 52 and has a beavertail on it with is just a bit longer. Now, one may be able to get it to close as I figure the leather will give with time allowing the 75 to fit...

    What's your rarest gun?

Had some "rare" ones which went down the road over the last few years. Danish bicycle carbine, excellent condition Japanese Type 44, SIG 230 Japanese Police Pistol in 32acp (I think 130 or so were imported to the US), Ruger brass framed (factory lettered) 45LC (I think they made 45 in that...

    Charter Arms 32 cal revolvers

I was really interested in their Professional when it was announced but cooled given the issues some had when they came out. No first hand experience with them though, so it could be a few getting repeated as you mentioned. I will say that the new Lipsey is a great version of the J frame, have...

    Fresh Barranti for a S&W N-Frame

Good looking holsters! I'll have to check them out, always looking for quality makers in that space.

Opinions On This 303 British Rifle Please

Another vote to shoot it unless something is clearly wrong with it.

    Smith CSX question

Hard to say about a safety unless one knows the design of the internals. Strikers, for instance, are not all the same (not a striker expert). Some are fully to the rear, some partially, and I think some are nearly fully forward at rest. So, the safety's role on those will differ. Same for...

Thinking about porting my Mosin Nagant.

Porting it may be $$ and hurt the value of the rifle, even if you don't plan to sell it. Shipping rifles is a pain and has gotten $$ unless you have a local guy who does porting. I would read some reviews of the device in the picture, if it isn't $$ I could be worth a try. Sell it if you...

Very nice! I have found the DE's to be accurate.

Walther PP vs Makarov PM vs… Everything Else

Another vote for the CZ-82. Better capacity, useable safety, nice trigger on most of them. I think it is the best of the combloc options out there. However, I still need to get a PA-63 to see how that compares, so that may change my mind but I don't think it will dethrone the 82.

Fresh primer hits the ground, becomes a golden nugget search

If it hits the ground I let it go, with my luck the one I find will be the opposite of what I am looking for and I'll find a new way to make my life hard.

    Need a new gun safe

I would look at other options; take down "safes", cages, etc. I have bought (and left) a few safes over the years which is why I would look at other options. As HSO pointed out, most don't do a lot (aside from weigh a lot) and if you're trying to keep the average person out other options do...

Something wrong with my Sig, or my recipe?

Did they perform well? Yes, I would check my brass but that is down my list of concerns. Seems like your SIG may need a bit hotter of a load or a different powder. Nothing I would be worried about if the round performed as it should.
