Does the NcStar scopes work, yes. Are they any good? Some are. The photos is of my NcStar 6x24-50 MM mounted on my Savage Model 110 in 270 Winchester. What you are looking at is a 5 shot group at 100 yards.
Are there better scopes, yes, but I can not afford them.

I have two of...
Well just 4 more days till the BIG announcement. Can I wait, I guess so, but I am going with bullets that heat treat themselves after being fired. That have no radar profiles (stealth bullets) coated with radar absorbing chemicals, that have a ballistic coefficient off the charts and can turn...
Ahh, the good old days (LOL). What made them good is that we no longer have to be living in those days anymore. Yes, we were younger then, had more energy, did more things and had raging hormones. Approximately 30% of all firearms back then were called "Saturday Night Specials" and we all...
My understanding is that NJ is one of the most anti-gun owning states in the lower 48. As their Governor a lot has to do with him. I would not trust him to protect your rights under any circumstances.
I would expect him to shoot you in the back in a metaphorical way.

What you can do is load a spire round as the last round in the magazine. That will be the first round in the chamber when you cycle the rifle. The balance of rounds in the mag would be round nose or flat point. That is one way you can use pointed bullets in a lever action rifle.

There are people with other opinions.
They are not as light as you may think, they are only produced in 30-30 or 35 Remington and yes they are beautiful rifles.

The issue as I see it, is that the firearms industry for the longest (1890's to 1950's) time did not do what would keep them going in lean times, diversify. Some like Remington, Winchester, Springfield Armory did get into the ammo business besides just making guns. But many did not and...
I have used Winchester primers for the last 10 years on all my rifle loads including about 3,000 223's and never had a problem or a punctured primer.

Blow back firearms have been with us since the late 1800's early 1900's. Their reliability and accuracy has never been questioned. The fixed or semi fixed barrels account for most of their accuracy.
Mauser, Luger, Walthers, Thompson all made blow back designed guns in 9 mm as well as 45 ACP...
My ideal protection is a
they are very deadly. That's my wife's height (we don't talk about her age or weight) LOL Not if you want to stay out of the hospital.
But short of that a 3.6 inch 45 ACP is my perfect CCW.

Pricing on firearms will have more to do with inventory at the distributor.
Distributors are the way mfg's sell their guns. Some large chains will purchase directly from S&W, Ruger, & Colt, but most of the stock of guns are sold to major distributors.
If they have an excess of one model or...
Being stupid is just being stupid, it cost a hell of a lot more (advertising, raffles, more advertising) just to get a customer into your store than the extra they will make by over charging. Word of mouth is the best advertising a store owner can have and customers know when they are being...
Target loads are generally a lighter amount of powder. The 357 Mag case is pretty large compare to the amount of powder you will have in it. The age old question is if the gun is pointed down the powder is not near the primer but at the bullet. If you point the barrel to the sky, then the...
Didn't lose a thing. Picked up some new toys for less than what they are selling for today.
As they say "location, location, location" or "timing, timing, timing."
