It may?? have been said before, but it is my understanding that the ONLY load that has duplicated the recall problem is the .357 Mag. Federal 125gr. Factory HOT loads.
If you stay away from these loads you should never have any issues, so Shoot Away...Bill.
I just got into a S&W Model 78G=.22 cal CO2 pistol.
Got here local to Indy (Indiana) for a GREAT price-like new in the box with most all of the original stuff.
The seals must be good for it's old age since the gas pressure has held for a couple of weeks..
It seems to shoot well also after some...

I agree--BUT???
Out of the QUALITY Big Three=Redding, Dillon, + RCBS, The ONLY questions that I have ever had by Service Techs, were with Redding===
Had a Competition Seater Die for .223Rem. that the person on the other end of the phone wanted to argue with me over loading Compressed Loads...
Do the 9MM by its self==Everything else you can do together=All rifle listed can go with the .38/.357..
My problem is sorting .380ACP/9MM Makarov/9MM Lugar.=Drives me (More) NUTS...HA.HA...Bill.
PS: What is a FART Light???
I guess?? that my first question would be, what/why are you using PISTOL Primers in RIFLE loads??
Cast loads, or not-Your .243 Win. loads WILL have too high of pressure for ANY Pistol primer..
ALSO==Any Large Pistol primer is shorter than a Rifle primer.?? Any light strikes??
Just my 2 cents...
" i need to work up a load for it and get a few hundred in the safe"
^^^
Ha...Things rough enough in your neck of the woods that you have to lock up your Hunting Loads???
I do some of my Factory EDC ammo, but not my hunting/target loads???...Bill.
You will do no wrong with ANY brand of 4064 in those calibers along with .308Win.
It's kinda like 4350==Most any brand of that # works in the larger capacities type of calibers...Bill.
Be sure of your brass size on your "Dummy" rounds. Especially on a totally NEW action..A LOT of things need to break in..
For most AR actions, best to use a SMALL BASE Full Length Size Die for most all loads, untill
"Break In" is done..
I Small Base size all of my AR loads with good...
