I know many of us oppose gun registration because of the possible confiscation angle. At the same time, the ability to track a gun to its owner is very useful for the purposes of criminal investigation.
In light of this, what do you think of a system where law enforcement can enter a gun's...
So I was at the gun show in Columbia, SC this past weekend, checking out everyone's inventory, when I happened upon a gun marked "CZ 75 compact" which I thought was new. Being a CZ fan, I picked it up and immediately could tell it had an aluminum frame. I turned it over and sure enough, "PCR"...
I was at a gun show this weekend and nabbed a Dan Wesson CBOB... for $775!!
I honestly don't think the guy knew what he was letting go of, should I feel bad?
Oh, and it came with the factory cocobolo and micarta grips.
I really like the concept of the P11, 10+1 rounds in a frame roughly the same size as a kahr pm9 is nothing to scoff at. I have a problem, however. KelTec's guns look and feel very cheap to me, and I honestly could not enjoy owning a gun that feels cheap. Any higher quality alternatives, or...
Gonna be my pocket gun, for now. Hopefully I can sell it for a profit and get what I really want, a sig p238 SAS. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's a little too thick and the trigger is horrible. The weight is suitable for pistol whipping.
I have to say this.
I think the second amendment needs to be revised. It is far too ambiguous. It makes its purpose clear, but fails to adequately define "well regulated militia" and "the people". Furthermore, if interpreted to apply to individual rights, "shall not be infringed" literally...
Is there any way you could legally convert a rifle into a pistol without at some point making it an "SBR" and paying the $200 tax?
Specifically, I would like to cut a marlin lever gun down to the same size as the puma bounty hunter so I could have it in stainless and avoid puma's $1300 price tag.
I will personally have to come down rather strongly on the multitool side. I use my pliers almost as much as my knife, and you can get a multitool with pretty much anything that comes on an SAK. I sometimes feel that SAK's are almost obselete.
All I currently know about them is that they have the worst website I have ever encountered for a firearms manufacturer.
Can anyone comment on the quality of their guns, perhaps in comparison to the CZ's they apparently copy? I hear they make the only non-1911 all steel 10mm automatic...
Does anyone know how old you have to be to work at a gun store in South Carolina?
I've been almost obsessed with guns since I was 12,and thanks to the internet, my knowledge is more comprehensive than practically anyone I know, but I'm 19, and I suspect that the legal age is 21.
How do their triggers compare? I'm thinking about getting one of the two in 9mm, and I prefer the CZ's decocker and polymer frame, but a short resetting crisp breaking trigger is more important to me.
I personally always like having an extra round, especially if the gun is the same size, so, are there any reasons not to get it? Like durability or timing issues?
The title basically says it all, though I would like to know if SP-01 mags are available for the .40 that hod more than 10 rounds, if not, I'll just go with the sig.
