Hi guys, I'm getting back into reloading. I haven't done it in over a year. My CCW expired and unfortunately, I have to start the process all over again. For the CCW exam, I'm going to be using my S&W .357. Yesterday, I reloaded some rounds using AA#9 (14.5grains) using a 158 grain bullet...
Thanks gents. I haven't reloaded and shot in over a year. I was kicking the idea of a purchasing a new glock and on the Glock website, I saw .357. I'm not a fan of .357 sig. but I'm a huge fan of .357 magnum (for a revolver).
Thanks again for all of the input.
It's been quite a few months since I used my S&W 686 (and have a freakin' blast). Anyway, a guy at the range allowed me to use his Ruger .357 and he had green front sights installed. Man, it was awesome. I can't believe how accurate I was using his reloaded hot rounds.
Here's the problem...
Guys, I'm looking for an outdoor range in the N.C./S.C. area. I hear there's a place in Chester S.C. but I can't locate it. I'm looking for a place where I can shoot a shotgun.
Does anyone know of any places?
Guys, I want to replace the stock sights on my Glock 20. I want to make 1 and only 1 purchase. Please help me to decide which is superior btwn: Trijicon Night Sights and TruGlo Fiber Optic. If you could choose 1 of the 2, which would it be and why.
Thanks!
Here's the situation with my S&W 686. I took off those crappy stock grips and replaced with nice looking wood grips. The problem with that is, I reload using pretty serious powder (H110). Right now, I have a major calous on my hand due to the recoil. Can someone recommend a set of...
but honestly, why would you want them? Yeah they sound cool but overly effective. Like are you really going to stand in front of an approaching vehicle and shoot at it to crack the engine block?
I have the Dillion 550B--it's a decent machine and the most popular out of the Dillion lineup. But if I had a chance to do it all over again--I would have went with the 650 (I hope I got the number right). You can do a bit more and I believe that it comes with the electric brass loader thing...
The reason why I don't like being around cops at a range is (and this is based solely on my experience) they become arrogant bullies. I'm familiar with all the local folks that go to this range. I also have a CCW. At times, I'll walk into the range with a revolver on my hip. Management has...
The thing that pissed me off is, they never gave any advanced notice of the new rules. They just started enforcing them. And, they looked shocked when people started questioning the new fee and rules. This is in Charlotte, N.C., where there are not a lot of ranges. There was another range a...
I've been shooting at my local range, religiously for over three years now. I'm so disgusted with the new rules that I've lost my interest in shooting. Check out some of the new rules:
1 - It now costs $8.00 per 1/2 hour to shoot;
2 - You can no longer shoot bird shot 12 Guage ammo (If you're...
Hell Yeah
Stupid Me, I Was Loading 10 Mm For My Glock 20. I'll Admit, At The Time, I Was Seriousy Distracted And Had A Serious Argument With My Girlfriend. Anyway, I Created A Squib Load And Then A Double Charge.
I Was At The Range Firing Off. The Squi Load Made A Poof Sound And Then...
10 mm
I don't shoot 9mm but for 10mm, I use AA # 9. You didn't tell us what size bullet that you're using. Personally, I use 180 grains of JHP, with an OAL of 2.50". Using this, I load 14 grains.
I highly suggest you going to the Accurate Arms web site to look at the data.
I load to many rounds to start all over again. I have the conversion kits for: 10mm; .357; .44; and .45.
I don't want to shell out the expense all over again.
I was reading the latest Blue Press magazine and saw an automatic casefeeder for the 550B. While it looks good, I don't want to shell out the $$$ if it's not as good as Dillon claims.
So, while I don't want to have a long extensize discussion which leads to nothing, does anyone have any...
