    SR22 mico-range report (+ Bersa/Firestorm 22 micro comparision)

...of info but I'm sure some will value it. I bought a SR22 a couple weeks ago but just got a chance to shoot it. I also brought along my Firestorm/Bersa 22 (and a couple other toys too). I did not clean the gun. I field stripped it and put 2 drops of oil on one slide and 1 drop of oil on...

Single Action vs Double Action trigger

Bersa hasnt been importing them for a few years BUT Firestorm is. Bersa makes the Firestorm. They are the same thing other than the grips are a little different. In fact, the Firestorms I have seen have Firestorm on one side of the slide and Bersa on the other side of the slide. The model is...

Would you buy a Bersa Thunder 22?

https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?search/11171/&q=Firestorm&c[users]=danez71&o=relevance I have one... the Firestorm actually, but same thing except the trigger guard and grips with finger grooves on the firestorm. Mine has been 100% with minimags and cci blazers. Not so much with others...

    Walther PPK/S 22lr. Opinions please?

Weblance, thanks for clarifying. I see that I misread. I also had the Ruger SR22 but sold it off and kept the Firestorm (Bersa). The Bersa 380 (and I may buy one of those 1 day) is constructed the same so the Bersa 22 is over built. Where as the Ruger SR22 still has some troubles with the take...

Bersa or Walther: That is the question

I shot around 300 rounds the a P22 and recently bough the SR22 and have owned the Firestorm 22 for about 1+ yrs I guess. While I liked the P22 and the SR22 even more.... if i could only keep one Id probably choose the Firestorm even though the SR22 has been less picky on ammo. Having...

    Ruger SR-22 Pistol Range Report

Just bought one about 3 hrs ago. Davidsons gungenie says they're allocated but the LGS I just bought it from had 2 yesterday said they got it from Davidsons. Ive barely played with it but I'd guess my Firestorm (Bersa) .22lr has a btter trigger. Hopefully with a little time.....

    Bersa Thunder 22

They're out too.... and thats why I went to condors flight. But good to mention them because the 22lr mags are hard to find sometimes just like the 22 pistol itself is sometimes.

    Bersa Thunder in .22LR

I really like my Firestorm/Bersa 22. Zero failures with CCI Minmags and Blazers. The federal 550 bulk pack in the maroon box from walmart caused it to choke nearly every round (wouldnt cycle the slide enough). Ive shot about a total of 1500 round of Blazer and Minimags. I need to try...

    Browning 1911-22

...the accuracy been? Any breakage? Take down still a breeze? Sights and trigger feed back? I have a BuckMark and a Bersa/Firestorm 22lr I'm just wondering ...Do I need two 22lr pistols? Do I want 3? Do I sell the 2 I have and get the Browning 1911-22 (they're kinda pricey)...

    Small 22's, to what use?

For me..... I have an old RG 22lr snubbie that my mom bought for HD over 30 yrs ago and I recently bought a Firestorm 22lr which is small compared to other current offerings besides those tip up barrel models. The RG - Its a terd in every aspect except it falls into a pocket. But for some...

    PPK/S .22 identification

...the SR22. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/584912306 The sights were bigger on the SR22. The single action was better on the Bersa/Firestorm. The DA trigger was a bit heavier on the Bersa/Firestorm but about as smooth as the SR. The SR has a nicer finish, the Bersa is more of an...

Bersa Thunder .380 on Gun Broker

...Go here. http://www.condorsflight.com/products/index.php?cPath=112 (Bersa and Fire Storm mags are the same) Ive used them for some FireStorm 22 mags. (My FS22 looked better when I got it than the gungenie pics too). Good guy,, he took some extra time with me before AND after I got...

    Walther PPK/S 22lr. Opinions please?

Just to clarify, its the slide that made of that material. The Bersa/Firestorm 22lr is steel and is a darn good substitute. I bought one because of the PPK/S style. Unfortunately, they haven't made those in a few years but they are out there. Fortunately, if you find one, it will be...

    Mp22 compact or sr22

That's odd. Most people say it's not ammo finicky. Mine never had a single issue. The sight are so so on the SR22. My Firestorm/Bersa 22 has a better SA trigger. The SR22 has the better DA trigger though.

    22lr pistol shooters please help

...hasnt seemed to be an issue which seems to negate the zamack concerns. My Buckmark has also been 100% with everything. And my Bersa/Firestorm 22 has been 100% with CCI mini mags and Blazers but spotty with the cheap stuff. Others have had great success with cheap bulk stuff in their Bersa's.

    M&P 22, Ruger sr 22 or Walther p22?

I agree pretty much with all of this too. I have the SR22p and the Firestorm (Bersa) .22 as well. My Bersa has never failed with CCI minimags and Blazers but I'll add that it hasnt liked the really cheap stuff. However, aarondhgraham has one and it seems to like everything. My SR22...

    22lr choices

...further distance with accuracy due to better sights, longer sight radius, better trigger, longer barrel. I sold by SR22 and kept my Bersa Firestorm 22 lr even though my Bersa needs HV ammo and the SR ate anything and everything. The Bersa spoke to me more but Id generally recommend the SR22...

    Walther P22 or Ruger SR22?

...mine being like that too. I did like it. For what it's worth, I've read the Walther P22 (on roster) is a lot better now and they've never had the dreaded disassembly latch breaking problem that still exists occasionally. I also have a Bersa Firestorm 22 (off roster) that I might sell...
