I always like to add that a well named trust enables you to engrave something cool, and in particular not your name, on any form 1 items.
Here in Michigan, any firearm, even SBR and machinegun, under 26” is a pistol and can be carried as one with a CPL.
Ah. Then you might be asking in the wrong place.
Might I suggest http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/
What does the Form 4 say?
Is there a link for this? I just checked their site and they only mention active duty.
Never mind. I found it right there.
I agree, but you have to remember a couple things:
ATF didn’t come up with 2011-4 because they wanted life to be easier for us.
People often think of a pistol as not being in an NFA configuration because it has no stock. But a short weapon made from a rifle is an SBR...
I personally believe the rationale ATF used in 2011-4 should apply to SBRs. But that’s just my belief. They would have said so if they meant so.
It is a literal way to read 2011-4.
You are trying to assume what ATF meant by omitting SBRs from the ruling. It doesn't matter why they did or...
Do you have a cite for that? Can you show anywhere that ATF has said it's OK to go from a pistol to an SBR back to a pistol?
Before 2011-4, ATFs...

2. Probably not. The only thing that allows pistol to rifle to pistol is ATF 2011-4, and it specifically...
18 USC 921 says:
"(7) The term “rifle” means a weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder and...
The odd thing is someone made the exact same mistake at almost the same time you did, on another gun related board. :)
Isn’t May 20 5/20 not 4/20?
If it makes you feel any better, the fact that it is your first submission with the trust makes no difference. Even if they do keep the trust on...
Everything Theohazard said. Plus:
Just going to inject an opinion here: if you are going to invest in a sear or pack, see a local attorney who...
I chose all seven options. Because I could.
I imagine if he knows that you don’t specifically want to never be able to add assets, he’ll take care of you.
Generally speaking yes. But it depends on the wording of the trust itself. How are you planning to come about having this trust?...
Here in Michigan, an SBR (or any firearm under 26” OAL) can be carried and transported as a pistol just like any other.
Separate names with a comma.
