I picked one up about 2 months ago. It runs Fed auto match, mini mags great. You want to run ammo with 1200 fps or faster in the beginning until you get it broken in. I got about 600 rounds through it now and it's running great.
If I needed another scope and considering $95.00 doesn't buy much of anything anymore, I could definitely look at one of these. In the past I always bought high end stuff, but the world is changing and there are some decent products coming from PRC.
I have this Griffith Armament lower that's been sitting in my safe for a few years. If I wanted to add a 9mm complete upper is there anything that has to be done to lower to get it to except the 9mm magazines?

Here you go ------- load yourself up!!!!
Trey, you have a lot of stuff piled up on that bench. How stable is it? I'm betting you could trim another 1/4" off those groups if you set up on the ground with your bags. Just a thought!!
My advice for what it's worth.
1. check action screws
2. check the free float on barrel
3. ditch those scope rings and bases
4. check the load data with a few loading manuals
I'm running a Victoptics 1-6 LPVO. I am really liking this optic and have used it at 50 feet, 50 yards and 100 yards. It comes in at 15 oz.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to try one thing before I through in the towel. Now that it has a flat face trigger, I'm going try engaging the trigger face at the top instead of at the bottom and see if relieves the bite.
I have a 43X that i have mentioned in the past. I hate the trigger as it tears my finger up no matter how I engage it with the tip of my finger. I went ahead and just put an Apex trigger in with flat face and 4.5 lb. pull. I didn't want to do this, but I just couldn't use it as is. Well guess...
I think your ammo is at fault. If your groups are the same with irons and red dot they're probably going to about the same with scope. I should add however 1.8" groups with an AR is not terrible, nor is it great.
If you're looking for reasonable ER Shaw will do it with the same factory contour and blue it. Or you could go stainless steel. I have never used them, but the reports are good. I have used Shilen, Kreiger and H.S. Precision in the past but H.S. no longer does the work. They do however sell the...
It's doing really well. Like I mentioned before the illumination knob is pretty stiff, but then I'm 70 years old and not as strong as I used to be. I had to remember to read the directions for setting up the ocular lense. Once I did that everything came into clear focus. The turrets have slight...
Took to the 50 foot indoor range and sighted in with a cmmg .22 conversion. The windage was dead on and had to dial up 1.5 mils elevation. At 3x the targets were crystal clear. Turning the power up the targets started to blur out which is to be expected since the parallax is set to 100 yards. I...
